Why Fingerprinting?

Individuals may be required to have fingerprints taken for a variety of reasons, such as Employment, Licensing, Adoptions or any other purpose where a Criminal History check is mandated. These background checks may be required by law, or by a prospective employer.

Fingerprinting is used to determine an individual's identity so that a complete criminal history record can be generated.
